We thought the Barn was lovely, very well thought out and well decorated. I wasn’t sure about the land (6 acres which you could play in?) just seemed to be farmer’s fields. Patio area was lovely and all planted up in the flowerbeds. Very convenient that we were told we could stay till later on the Sunday - not a problem.
Will definitely try to book again!

As a home for people with learning disabilities we were looking for a large accommodation so nine of them could have a holiday together. We also needed disabled facilities as one gentleman is in a wheelchair.
We were able to find all of these requirements at The Howgills Bunk Barn. The rooms were all well appointed with a shower room to each four bedded room. The kitchen, dining area and lounge areas were all very comfortable.
All the residents and staff who attended the holiday had a very enjoyable time. The service we received during our booking and before our arrival was very helpful.
We would gladly recommend this accommodation to other groups but to be aware that the track to the barn is very narrow and we had some access difficulties on the last short part up to the barn.
However we understand this problem will be changed at a later date.

I think that there is another place in the Lake District where we can get this much luxury to accommodate so many people. Sky T.v. Brilliant!

Thanks for a fantastic weekend, the bunk barn impressed everyone as it was everything we could want and more! It was spotlessly clean and incredibly well equipped.
