Hi, Just to say we had a fantastic weekend and I hope you found everything in good order. We have over the years, in various numbers, stayed at barn conversions, but this one is by far the best in every way. Space, comfort, facilities , near the hills for walking, whilst being near the pubs and village.
Once again a BIG THANK YOU and hope to return next Summer.

We had a fantastic weekend at Howgills to celebrate our wedding at Gretna Green on 16 July. Couldn't have been better, apart from the rain which didn't spoil anything, we barbequed under umbrellas! All our family and friends thoroughly enjoyed the weekend-long party. Much nicer than staying in a hotel, we had the place to ourselves and it was just the perfect venue. Facilities are excellent and kitchens very well equipped. Hope to revisit some time in the future. Well done Nigel and team for creating such a great place.

We booked the bunk barn for our annual get together. What a fantastic venue! There were 30 of us staying and there was more than enough room for us all. The rooms were warm and cosy and remarkably soundproof. The upstairs meeting room was a bonus- a place to sit and chat whilst the party was going on down below. Plenty of room for food and drink storage- and so well kitted out. The field next door was perfect for an afternoon of cricket. We had an excellent weekend and hope to stay again next year!
